Prices
Prices vary according to date, and range from £140
to £390 per week. The booking week is from 4pm on a Saturday
to 10am on the following Saturday. For the price in any week,
please phone or e-mail us with the
dates required.
Deposits
A deposit of £100 is required at the time of
booking, and the balance is payable four weeks before the start
of the holiday. For holidays starting within four weeks, the full
payment should be made when booking. Payment can be made by cheque
drawn on a British bank, by bank transfer, or in cash.

Payments
Payments from within Britain can be made by cheque
or in cash. Cheques should be made payable to R. Gayre.
Alternatively, payments may be made directly to our
bank. Please ensure that the full amount will be paid, as some
types of transfer may incur a large commission both to you and
also to us! Our bank details are: Account Name - Minard Castle;

Cancellations
Deposits are not refundable unless the chosen dates
are unavailable, in which case payments will be returned at once.
However, if sufficient notice of a cancellation is given, and
we are able to re-let the accommodation for the same dates, we
will refund the payment. Any costs to us, such as credit card
commission, will be deducted from the amount refunded. We recommend
that guests take out holiday insurance to cover their costs in
the event that they have to cancel. We try to be considerate and
understanding about cancellations or date changes, as we would
rather have satisfied customers than ones who feel they have been
exploited!
If you find you have to cancel, please let us know
immediately. We may be able to re-let your accommodation. Otherwise,
you are liable for half the outstanding balance of the cost of
the accommodation if you cancel within a month of your arrival
date, or if you cancel within one week of your arrival date you
are liable for the full amount.
Non-arrivals
Guests who have booked but fail to arrive (or do arrive
but do not stay, or do not stay for the full duration of the booking)
are liable for the full cost of the booking, unless we are able
to re-let all the accommodation reserved by them. If we are able
to re-let, but only for a shorter period, those failing to complete
their stay are liable for the difference.

The self-catering accommodation is located in the grounds
of Minard Castle, it is not within the main castle building itself.
